We love eating at Brewhalla and stop in for Luna Market, Cows & Co. and Noods and Buns often. We stayed at the hotel for the first time last Saturday. Upon check in, I noticed that we were staying next to several squirt hockey families.... which in my experience can be loud in a "regular" hotel at night and early in the morning. The brewery and event space was really loud and active when we got to our room, but surprisingly, as soon as we closed the door to our hotel room it was QUIET! The concrete floors and steel really absorb SO much sound. The bed was amazingly comfortable and even though we were on the "Train side", it wasn't bothersome. Definitely our new favorite Fargo hotel and we will stay there again.

I enjoyed my stay at Brewhalla, with some caveats. Overall, the experience was great, with the amenities and the service being top notch! Staffers at check-in were friendly and helpful - there is not a clearly labelled reception area, and you check in at the bar! Pros: Great amenities if you are looking for an evening out, including the attached (and always excellent) Drekker Brewing, with more than a dozen taps and take-away available. Food options were also good, with a burger/sandwich stall, bakery, mini convenience store, noodles & steamed buns, a raw bar, and gelato available. The rooms were more similar to an art studio than any other hotel I have stayed in, with each room being named after a Drekker release (such as Techno Viking, Screamer, etc.) - the rooms have large-scale art replicas of the beer label artwork, which was cool! The bed was comfortable and had plenty of pillows available. Worth noting that the room floor was largely bare concrete, and all tables are a metal cart type. Again, unlike any other hotel room I have ever seen. Cons: The biggest downside (by far!) is the proximity to active train tracks, being literally less than 50 feet away from the building. While the room came equipped with earplugs and a white noise machine, I would recommend against staying here if you are noise-sensitive or a light sleeper. Overall, although I enjoyed my stay at Drekker and Brewhalla, I would not be able to stay here again with my partner (being a light sleeper). Great job in making a unique space in Fargo!

Not sure WHY the in room laundry facilities are not advertised; it was SO nice to be able to do a load of laundry midway through a long road trip! The room is more like an apartment, so nice. Food and shops downstairs. Heads up about two things: 1) The train really is RIGHT there, which I thought was cool (and ear plugs are provided), but just FYI. And 2) Don’t check out of your room at 11 and poke around down in the shops before leaving the heated garage. Access codes WILL stop working at 11, so pull around first, then enjoy the shops.

Is Brewhalla a reference to the Norse god of beer? I'm not sure. But everything about the place is youthful and fun. The staff is friendly, and the owners cleverly made the check-in counter a bar. The clerk/bartender checks you in, offers you a free glass of surprisingly high-quality beer, and tells you about place. The vibe is an eclectic blend of hipster, punk, and urban-professional. The only potential downsides to watch out for are no breakfast, the lobby isn't staffed 24/7, and the hotel is built right next to a railroad. Yes, a noisy railroad. But if you can survive the night without room service, you can survive the sound of a freight train. The suite had a king size bed with a memory foam mattress, ultramodern curbless shower and floating sink, and fun art and neon lights. For those of you that had a friend with Grateful Dead memorabilia who lived in his mom's basement -- this place is like an adult version of that. The floors are polished concrete, and because there's no gross carpet, the rooms don't smell like bug bombs. I could wax on and on about this place, but if you want a safe, comfortable, pleasant stay in Fargo, give Brewhalla a shot.

This has been on my bucket list for breweries to visit. What an amazing space! I did not stay at the hotel but came to try the beer and experience the variety of shops and food vendors. Eclectic assortment of shops. The food selection was decent, but the place was VERY busy on a cold Saturday evening. Don't expect fast food speeds when ordering. The beers, as expected, were top notch!!! Service was prompt and the novelty of walking around shopping with a beer in hand was fun.

I cannot stress this enough when I say that this was the best hotel experience I have had in the last five years. Everything was perfect for me . The staff were friendly and energetic. The rooms were immaculately clean. The designs of the room were unique and fun. The shops and restaurants within the hotel itself were equally amazing. I would recommend this hotel to anybody staying in the Fargo area.

Most cool place. Staff super friendly. Left 2, 4-pks sitting at table in common area, returned in morning and it was gone. Called staff in morning to explain situation, they delivered my forgotten beer in less than 10 min. Who.does this, was $40 worth of beer. Super customer service. This place is so unique and fun

Brewhalla feels like a concrete-and-iron apocalypse decided to open a boutique beer hall. Heavy beams. Raw steel. Smoked meats somewhere in the distance. Then out of nowhere… pink trim and neon glow like the end of the world hired an interior designer. And on the walls? Warnings. “Don’t feed the ghouls.” Naturally, I went looking for them. Walked the halls. Checked corners. Peered into shadows between the brewery and the shops. I was absolutely prepared to feed a ghoul if one presented itself. I don’t even know what ghouls eat. Probably brisket. Maybe IPA. But nothing. Either the ghouls are stealthy, or they clock out after 9pm. Stayed at the hotel twice and love it. The rooms are themed after the beers, which somehow makes sleeping feel like you’re inside a well-designed fever dream. It’s industrial chaos meets curated cool. Brewhalla isn’t just a brewery. It’s a stylish survival compound with good beer, cool shops, and mysterious wall warnings. Still no ghouls spotted. Still ready with snacks.
